“2016 will be my 7th time and after each year I always book the dates for the following year off work straight away! The main thing that draws me back every year is simple – the people.
We all have so much fun together throughout the whole week. The teamwork of the carers is great and although you are assigned to care for a particular holiday maker we all work together and help out wherever needed. – Katie”
Volunteering can be such a rewarding experience and Holiday 4 Disabled has made many fond memories and forged long lasting friendships.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join us. You have to be over 18 to volunteer and will need to answer a small questionnaire and complete a DBS check. If you are willing to give up your time to come along and help us then get in touch today by filling out the form below, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org The sense of achievement is well worth it!
Volunteering with us is also a great way to work towards your Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award (aged 18 plus), as we meet the requirements for the residential section of the award.
Free training for volunteers is provided, both before and during the holiday. Transport is provided for both holidaymakers and volunteers to and from the Holiday destination.
If you wish to volunteer with H4D you will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check during the application process.
